Make sure you download content that is mp4 format already, or use any one of many computer apps that convert other formats to mp4... then, add the mp4 content files to your iTunes library, then sync to your iDevices.

You can try the airserver app. It not only converts video to mp4 format, but also let's you stream video directly from your hard-drive, saving you the trouble of needing to transfer them over in the first place.

If you've downloaded the TV shows as .mkv's you don't need to convert them. Just change the container (remux). There are a few programs that can do this but I use Smart Convertor Pro from the Mac Appstore (if you have a Mac of course).

Should only take a couple of mins.

As said above though, if you're not downloading HD (.mkv) the x264 should be your best bet.

1. Download VLC player on your iPad
2. Open iTunes on your computer
3. Go to apps and scroll down where you'll see some apps through which you can sync files into the device.
4. Select VLC and press open and select all the TV show files and it will transfer all the files to your iPad.
5. DON'T PANIC!!!!
