This all depends on the area you are in. Some people will have a lot higher speeds than that, but their area might get a better LTE signal that where you live.

Also, there may be a great signal in your area, but a ton of other LTE users.

It's hard to be sympathetic, though, as I would do horrible things to get anywhere near 7Mbs on a mobile connection.

My speeds on Verizon's Lte network vary greatly. I'm in the Phoenix are and I get 18/20 Meg's down at home, but 7 to 9 at work. It really does depend on the coverage in the city and particular area you're in. Whatever speeds you're enjoying expect them to go downhill fast after October, thanks new iPhone.

Vzn says you should get 5-12 DL Mbps on LTE. . I find that slow as I get around 25 average DL.

In Houston, Tx I have gotten as high as 26 Mbps down with 12 or so up. It does vary by location but is a lot faster than my home connection (16)

I just checked my speed here in South Texas (McAllen area). I ran it three times with the Speedtest app, and got the following results.

Down (Mbps) - 13.38, 8.52, 11.03

Up (Mbps) - 0.18, 0.30, 0.20

At times in the past I have gotten over 20 Mbps, but that is rare. With those speeds, it almost makes me want to switch to Verizon!
