How do I get rid of the pins in Maps? I have a red and a purple one I can't make go away.

Click the pin, then the little "i" on the pop-up box that appeared when the pin was clicked, then, in the next box, tap 'remove pin'.

Thanks kch that took care of the one but that option is not there for the red pin.
