    I have an iPad 2 wi-fi only, iPhone 3GS and my wife has a iPhone 4S. When I send a message from the iPad, I get a "Not Delivered" error message. So then I try to send a message to my wife with my iPhone 3GS, I notice the background has changed color from the light blue to signify the Apple messenger back to green. Did I change a setting somehow? Or is Apple's messenger down?

    It was working for me a few minutes ago when I last sent an iMessage to someone. Go into the messages settings on the iPad and iPhone and make sure that iMessage is set to ON for both devices. If that doesn't work try resetting your Network Settings and see if iMessage returns.

    Thanks Irish Rose. I went to settings, I found that the services were on but for some odd reason, my password was incorrect. Several times to enter in the p/w failed. I set iMessenger back up with another e-mail address. Funny thing though, I still get e-mails on that account with the same p/w. ??
