How long before stores start having these in stock?

I didnt really pay attention how long it took before the Ipad was able to actually be bought by someone not waiting in line all night, 1 month , two months, what would you say?

It was around 4-6 weeks the first time around. It may be a little longer with the trouble Japan is in. Two months from now it shouldn't be difficult to just walk into a store and buy one.

I think the iPad1 was released in April (? could be off a bit)... I bought mine in June at BestBuy... they didn't have all of the variations in stock, but they did have several to choose from... so I'd agree with j7469 - within a couple months you should be able to walk in and buy one...

Expect 2 months! At lease thaTs my guess. Demand is much higher this year because ppl know what an iPad is now and what it can do. Japan can also cause a delay.
