Apple's refund for recent iPad customers?

I just bought my ipad yesterday and I just read that I can get $100 back if I keep my 1st gen iPad. How would I go about getting the money? Should I call Apple?

Go to the store. I'm reading that if you didn't buy from Apple though then your out of luck.

It depends on the return policy of where you bought it. I didn't hear anything about getting $100 back.

I doubt bestbuy's return policy somehow becomes null and void just because of the ipad 2.

If you got it from Apple call support or got to the store with your paperwork. They should give you a gift card, or refund a $100 back to whatever CC you used to purchase it.


If you didnt get it from APPLE than you're SOL
