Airprint Activator

Question; I have windows xp and an iPad, and I did a search and found that if you get the "Airprint Activator", it will let your shared printer on your computer look like an airprint printer, and you will be able to print from the iPad. I installed the program, and it worked fine on day one, but it has not worked at all since then. Does anyone have any experience with this program? Failing that, does anyone know a good consistent program or app that I can use to print from the iPad to my printer?

I have it installed on my Macbook Pro. You have to keep the activator open all the time if you want to use it. Your computer has to be on, not in hibernation or asleep in order for it to work. I didn't want to spend the money on a new printer and downloaded this and have not had any problems.
