Hey all, I'm not sure I'm getting the data speeds that the iPad is capable of. Most often, when I stream video the first fifteen seconds or so stream really blurry then then picture seems to click over to high quality. On the same token, the first 75% or so of web pages load really quickly then the last 25% drags.

I do have a pretty old router, Linksys WRT54G. Should I upgrade to a Wireless N? I was thinking about a Linksys E-200.

Does anyone have any experience with a situation like this or that router?

I was really surprised the difference in speed between a G network (Airport Extreme UFO), G/N 2GHz (Airport Extreme N), and a 5GHz N network. Right now I have a private N 5GHz network set up just for iPad and iMac.

You should definately upgrade that router is OLDDD, however if you get an wireless N router just know it will throttle down to the slowest device on it.
