Landscape or Portrait mode for web browsing ?

It all depends on the site that I'm browsing. Some just work better in landscape.

Exactly. I can't participate in this poll because my answer is "both."

When I am holding the device while browsing, and am likely to need to type, I use portrait mode and type on it like a giant mobile phone.

When I am just viewing content, I tend to prefer landscape mode. I also keep it in landscape mode when using the Apple case's typing posture (for lack of a better term) for composing a post or message.

For some web photo viewing, I may keep in either format, depending on the dimensions of the photo, itself.
