Apple Smart Keyboard

I have an iPad Pro 9.7 with an Otterbox case. I wanted to try the Apple Smart Keyboard with the iPad Pro.

Can I use the iPad Pro and the smart keyboard together WITHOUT removing the Otterbox case?

You can not. The contact for the Smart Keyboard on on the edge of the iPad so you would need to remove the case every time you wanted to use the Smart Keyboard.

I have the UAG ipad pro 9.7 case. The flap/cover is removable, to use an Apple Smart Keyboard. Nice thought by UAG.
