I have a iPhone 7 plus with 256gb storage. It wasn't my first choice but the 128gb in matte black wasn't available. I'm wondering how much storage I should get on the iPad. I'm thinking between 128 & 256gb. I'm not considering the 32gb version because I'm going with ATT next. Would 256gb be too much since I have that much on my iPhone? Cost wise its only $5 more a month.

Even though the new ones are coming maybe in March 2017, I'm still thinking about the first generation if I can get a good deal.

Oh, before I forget, I have the 9.7" iPad Pro with 128gb and I want to get the 12.9" one and probably give the 9.7" to my kids.

Well depends on your usage, if you use it for apps/games and music only you can get 128 GB but if you want to watch videos i mean movies TVs you better grab 256 GB one. me myself own 256 GB cause i usually buy things on iTunes.

For example Arrow Season 4 is around 45 GB. Are you in or not?

If your current iPad Pro with 128 GB storage is sufficient then go ahead and get the 12.9" model with the same storage capacity. Sure, more is better, but it can also be a waste, especially if your usage habits remain the same.

My wife will kill me with two iPads, so the 9.7" one will go to the kids. So it might be better to get 256gb and say the heck with it. Still waiting for Friday and Monday sales to see if now is the time to buy. If not, than I have to wait for the new ones.

My 9.7" iPad Pro has only 128gb, the 7 plus is the one with the 256. I'm almost half on the iPad and only about 23gb Used on the iPhone.
