iPad Air 3 or 9.7-inch iPad Pro? Which is it?

I keep hearing rumors of both an iPad Air 3 AND a new 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Are these two different products or will they be one and the same?

I know I can just wait a day until the announcement tomorrow but am super confused. Can someone shed some light on this for me? Thank ya in advance, am new here and will probably register soon!!

What the rumors are saying is that the iPad Air 3 may be its own device, or instead of making an iPad Air 3 then will just take the Huge iPad Pro and make it into the 9.7 inch. So essentially there will either be an iPad Air 3 or there will be no iPad Air 3 and just the iPad Pro 9.7
