Photo editing on the Pro???

I'm looking at getting a iPad pro but I want to edit photos and videos that I take with my iPhone 6s plus.. Has anyone used the iPad Pro to edit photos or videos?

That would be great... But I'm wondering more if the iPad Pro is powerful enough to edit photos for an amateur photographer
