    Will I be able to buy the iPad Pro LTE sim lock free? If so, will there be an extra charge?

    Welcome to iMore! Your iPad Pro should come unlocked unless you purchase it at a discount through a carrier and sign a contract.

    Yes it's sim locked unless you purchased at full price from Apple directly. If you bought it through a carrier it will be locked to that carrier until your payment plan has been satisfied.
