Urban armor gear case

Ok just bought a urban armor gear case and zagg shield for my new bro today at Best Buy and I was wondering how protective is this combo? I am coming from having a otterbox defender on my mini 2. I am worried about the side where the smart connector is being in covered.

UAG makes really good stuff I'd still be using mine for my phone if I could get dang letters clean lol. I'm not fan of folio ones by them only because phone ones seem just not be worth it and they over priced flimsy. Dunno much about iPad ones been while since I had one I heard they are good though.

I've never had a problem with my UAG Monarch or Plasma / Zagg Glass combo for my 7plus. Good luck!

This was for iPad though, I purchased one and it ruined my glass. It now just sits in box in my closet not being used.

My dad is using one on his ipad and there have been no issues yet, he’s even dropped it a few times. You should be just fine with it.
