The new new 29 watt charger and USB-c Charger is suppose to speed up the sluggish charging speed of the large iPad Pro. Will it also work with the iPhone 6 plus?

I don't know, but I'm sure someone will try it and respond at some point.

I honestly don't imagine it would be safe to use. This could have just been a one off situation but when I tried charging my iPhone 6S with my iPad Pro charger it started getting warmer than usual. Maybe that is a unique experience to me but I wondered if it was because of the higher watts in that charger compared to my standard iPhone charger. So I'd be hesitant to try it with the 29 watt charger.

I don't recall where I read it, but someone said that it worked but there was no faster charging above what you get with a standard iPad charger.
