If the ipad pro is shut for a day when I turn it on the battery has fallen by 2-3% even though nothing is coming through. Is this normal?

It's perfectly normal for lithium ion batteries to slowly drain when not in use. Nothing to worry about.

Even though it's off, there are processes that continue to run.

That's so strange. 2-3 percent on that huge battery is a lot of mah. But I've noticed on mine too.

    Could be an OS bug?

I have the same thing occurring. Actually finding my battery drains pretty fast especially with Cell Radio enabled (Have to remember to turn it off)
