I just got home and pulled my iPad Pro out of my work bag, where it had been sitting idle for no less than 4 hours and noticed that it was slightly warm in the back. I had been using it all day at work with no heating issues and all of a sudden it was warm while sitting idle? Has anyone else experienced this?

Where'd you have the bag during your commute?

By the heater vent, heated seats, in direct sunlight?

On the floor in the middle of my van with tinted windows. I am wondering if there was a runaway process causing it. It was really weird. My batter was down to 23% when I pulled it out. I believe it was in the 50s when I left work.

Was any heat coming up through the floor? Did you feel the floor?

I doubt it. Even if there was, the bag was sitting in my bedroom for a few hours before I took out the iPad.
