Totally agree with your opinion with regards to the feel of the silicone case. I have the exact same one one; myself & my SO both thought that it was made of leather. A great investment as it protects the device quite well.

I have the grey version of both. Love the feel of the material as well and appreciate how the case / cover combo covers and protects everything completely.

YOU CAN USE THE "HEY SIRI" feature..... It does NOT have to be plugged in for it to work. Go to settings-general-Siri and toggle hey Siri switch to on

Really? That is amazing. I have read conflicting reports on this so wanted to know for sure. Hey Siri is really useful when cooking or baking.

Ok I now have my iPad Pro and I'm loving it. However, I will confirm that "hey Siri" doesn't work unless the iPad pro is plugged into a power source.
