If I purchase my iPad Pro with my mobile carrier, would I be able to unlock it

I will be getting my iPad Pro tbrought my mobile carrier, can I unlock it from it?

I think as long as the device is paid in full you shouldn't have a problem getting it unlocked.

If you have AT&T, just double check as I recall with prior iPad Air (2) if you have an AT&T SIM it becomes carrier locked and you have to get it unlocked by them. Unlike an iPhone which is carrier agnostic.

iPads never lock to carriers.

The Apple SIM card (included with the iPad Air 2) CAN lock to AT&T, but all you have to do is get a new sim, Apple or carrier-specific.
