When I get the iPad Pro, would it be more beneficial to use as wireless card or add it to my phone plan? Can I even use a wireless card?

No, you can't use a wireless card directly on the Pro. If you don't get the cellular capable one, you can always connect it to a wifi hotspot...even your cell phone's hotspot provided your carrier's service plan includes it.

Keep in mind if you use your phone as a hotspot you might want to keep a power pack handy to keep both devices juiced while in use. No sense in killing your iPhone's battery as a HotSpot only to be left with no juice to make a call.
