Got my new iPad Pro 12.9 today. Looks great, screen is awesome. However...I'm using a Belkin USB-C to USB-A cable as my home Mac where my backups and media are stored does not have USB-C. The sync is insanely slow. It took about 2 hours to restore the backup. My media (a fair amount of music and some movies) have now been going for more than an hour.
When I got my iPhone XS Max, the same content was synced via lightning cable in a fraction of the time.
Any ideas here? Is it the cable?
By the way, when the restore was happening, my Mac was very slowed down too.
