When will 3rd party cases be available for the 2018 12.9" iPad Pro?

Anytime soon, if there aren’t any currently available and provided that the cases that fit the previous models don’t fit.

I decided to get the Apple Keyboard with the 12.9 and if I don't like it will get the same Logitech Slim Combo I am using on my 10.5 now... when it comes out.

Are you keeping your 10.5” or getting rid of it? This is the position I’m in. Keep the 10.5” or upgrade to the 12.9”. It’s only about 156 grams difference on the weight plus the size.

I asked my wife, she has not played with the iPad Pro. We just added a new position for her, so she will be on the road more, and have more responsibility in the company. Instead of lugging around a laptop I often just use the iPad as the pencil makes life easier.

Now that the new basic iPads have pencil, it's up to her. I have the 10.5 with the Logitech Slim combo and two pencils. Once I get the 12.9 working, she can play with the 10.5 and decide if she wants it, or will just use her laptop / iPad Air 2.

If we keep it, I may still kill off the LTE and save $20 a month from AT&T.

If she does not want it, it's Swappa bound.

Sadly we're still stuck using PC/Laptops, as I have no possible way of accessing out main/biz software on the iPad. That still sucks.

It is odd... it's like no 3rd party vendors except for software cared.

I'm actually debating whether or not to get a case for this one. Unlike my 2015, it's going to be much thinner AND the pencil will stick to it.

I use it more as a laptop replacement when I don't want to bring my Laptop (HP Spectre 360) with me.. so the keyboard is essential. I don't like the virtual glass keyboard. Even when reading I often like the Kickstand of the cases, when I am reading while at a restaurant or such when traveling or at a table, etc.

Different Strokes etc..

That being said I am kind of sad I could not have a Logitech Slim Smart Combo Case for the 12.9 on launch day. Will see if I can get used to the Apple Smart Keyboard. Will know in 5-days... maybe.. I leave again on Thursday and may not have time to open the box Wed.

It looks to be a generic version of Apple's Smart Folio but much cheaper. Given it just covers the front and back, the Pencil 2 can still magnetically attach. Some of the other cases I have seen on Amazon for the new iPad Pros cover the sides of the device and not allowing for magnetic attachment of the Pencil 2.

Funny, I have a very similar bag I have been using for the last year. Same concept. I have been putting my laptop up front and my 10.5 pro in the back zipper compartment, but not sure how both with fit with the new 12.9. I guess I will know tomorrow.

It is only $19.99 which is cheaper than the Ztotop case. I purchased to Ztotop as well and it shipped yesterday so I will pass on this Moko unless I am not satisfied with the Ztotop case. One thing about this Moko case though is that it is not eligible for Amazon Prime (if that matters to you).
