Hello everybody,
Long story short is: My 2011 MacBook Pro no longer works and it was time for an upgrade anyways. I’m a Junior in High School, got a job, and figured I’ll be needing a new device to mainly type and use as a backup for my IPhone. I’ve been doing research and I’m still not 100% sure. My three options are either getting a 2017 MacBook Air for $899 plus tax, a 2017 10.5 IPad Pro and buying the Apple Smart Keyboard to stimulate that laptop feel for school, or get a a older IPad from 2017 and adding a Logitech keyboard. I’ve also got a few questions on the IPads concerning the WiFi+ Cellular.
1. Is there any way to have an IPad receive cellular data on the go anywhere without having to add an extra line to a carrier line? Pretty much any way with no phone companies involved? Thanks for any help!
