Ipad Mini 2 not charging at all.

My ipad mini 2 is not charging. It stays at 2% then dies after sometime, then powers on again. I did everything from replacing my charger and its cable to rebooting and updating the ios on the device but nothing worked. I need help on this. Is the battery dead or is it a software issue? i connected the ipad to the mac aswell, it says that its charging but the battery percentage stays at 2%. What should i do now? I need suggestions. Thank-you.

Wow, that doesn't sound good. I would take it to be repaired. Sounds like the battery is either wonky or maybe it's a software issue (I can't say which). I also have an iPad mini 2, but it's not having the problem you're experiencing.

Question for you, though - is that your only charger for the iPad, and do you have another device you charge it with? Wondering if maybe your charger is broken.
