Been trying o face time my friends but my front camera not working screen is just black,can someone help?

Hi, welcome to iMore.

Try hard-resetting your iPhone.

Press the power and home button for 5 to 10 seconds, wait till the logo appears and release the buttons. You can also power down your iPad and power it back up again. In most cases this solves these kind of issues.
