I recently had my internet speed upgraded from 30/5 to 200/20. I realize I will never see those down speeds translate to wifi, however, since the upgrade, my iPhone 6 regularly gets between 60-80 down and the full 20 up. However, my iPad mini 4 has not seen any increase in downstream. Still getting 20-30, but it does get the full 20 up. looking for ways to see some of that boost on the iPad. Any suggestions?

Modem is ubee dvw32cb.
Router is asus rtn56u

Ok so I just answered my own question. I use a range extender because the iPad's range goes to hell once it's 20 feet from the router. I connected to the non extended ssid and the speeds shot right up past 100down. This does me no good though because once I'm in the back of the house I get no reception if I'm not on the .ext version of my network. Then I'm right back to where I started. 20-30 down. My mini 4 has had range issues from day one.
