Here is a guide on how you can hide apps. Another option is to create a folder and place all the apps you are not using into it and place it on the last page and forget it exists. That is what I do.
Here is the last option I can offer you on how to hide apps:
Create a new folder or open an existing folder
Move the apps you want to hide into that folder
Tap and hold on any icon until they all begin to jiggle, allowing you to rearrange them
Grab any app in the folder and drag it to the right beyond the last tab in the folder
While still holding the app icon, press the home button
Step 5 will cause the app icon to vanish completely and you won't have to look at them. This trick only hides your apps temporarily — the next time you reboot your iPhone, all of the hidden apps will reappear in the folder.
I just stick mine in a folder and move the folder way over on the last screen page by itself. Are the apps you don't want stock apps? If so, there's not much you can do but as already mentioned.
