Need input to decide.... iPad mini or Apple watch

Win a company contest and the prize is choice of IPad mini or Apple watch( Neither of which do I currently have)
Looking for input from other on suggestions. Problem for me is that I live out in the country and have no access to high doped wireless from home. So that restricts what I can do on IPad.
So give me your honest opinions and thought. Pros and Cons. Thanks in advance.

I would not trade my iPad mini for an Apple Watch, and really like my Apple Watch. . . . The iPad allows you to do so many things conveniently.

If you can't use an iPad on Wi-Fi, then it isn't really worth getting.

I guess that depends on what other Apple products you have? If you have an iPad already then the mini is just a smaller version. If you only have an iPhone then an iPad Mini might be a good choice.

I have both and use my Watch more than my Mini, but that is mostly because its on my wrist all the time

I would say go for an apple watch if you have an iPhone
