    If Apple indeed introduces the iPad Mini 2 later today, but it comes without a retina display and / or Touch ID scanner, would you still be interested in buying one?

    Yes, really. After having iPhones with Retina since the 4, and then getting the non retina Mini 1, I will no longer compromise my web browsing experience with a non retina device again, when I can get a retina display, faster processor and improved internals with the iPad 5.... I'm 100% sure that the Mini 2 is getting a retina display so it doesn't matter anyway.

    I will buy a new Mini to replace my current MIni only if it has both the retina screen and TouchID. It is highly unlikely that both features will be on the new Mini ... in part because of the processor in the current Mini - the A5... to run the TouchID requires an A7(x) processor, and that would mean that Apple would have to jump 2 processor iterations to get there... so, even though I’d love to have it, I will live without it for now...
