ipad Mini /iPod touch

I was just looking at the price in Apple store in Taiwan, and found out that iPod touch 32GB cost more than a iPad Mini...??!!!

ipad mini 16G price at Apple store in Taiwan NT$10,500 (US$ 361.53)
ipod touch 5th 32G price at Apple store in Taiwan NT$11,290 (US$ 388.73)

Not sure if this is a mistake...

What if you compare the same size. 16GB to 16GB or 32GB to 32GB?

Things is, if I compare the same in the US or Japan store, iPod touch is cheaper then the Mini.

Oh, and there isn't a 16GB model for the new iPod touch.
