Didn't they say it was going to be the Air 2 but smaller ? The Air 2 had the A8x chip and 2GB of ram . Here it says A8 and 1GB

Still waiting for iFixit or someone else to do a teardown and bench test to confirm the memory situation. It seems that no one actually knows how much memory this thing has.

I am assuming it has 2GB due to iOS 9s split screen. The older mini and iPad Air did not get split screen because it only had 1GB. Only the iPad Air 2 had it and now the Mini 4.

Oh okay. When did I gain the ability to open another window like this though? I'm wondering if it's a new feature to iOS beta 9.1 or I just didn't notice it before?

I think you had it with iOS 9.0 beta?

I've been fiddling with it on my Air, but only after I got 9.1 beta.

When I get my Mini 4, I look forward to trying true multitasking.

It's a main feature of iOS 9. It's been there since the first beta. I'm surprised you haven't noticed it before. I activate it on accident all the time.

I accidentally activate the search but never accidentally activated that... Hmm. Don't know?
