Mini 2 white lines, how can I get them off?

Mini 2 white lines

Hi all

I was recently watching videos on my iPad mini 2 and multiple horizontal (when in portrait) white lines appeared. The lines are spaced about 2mm apart and run from the bottom of the screen up to the time/battery % bar at the top. The iPad itself still functions.

I've tried a soft reset and hard reset, non improvements seen.

My suggestion would be to take it in and have it looked at by Apple. My son had this happen on his Mini and he had to have the screen replaced.
