I've got a google nexus which I'm not too happy with
Always lagging, freezing and I've had enough

Can any of the apple tablets run a playstation 1 emulator without jailbreak?

    No emulators. No torrent downloaders.

And absolutely no talk of illegal downloads or piracy.

Jail breaking is fine because it is not illegal. Most people who jailbreak are doing perfectly legal things with it.

Some people may do illegal things with a jailbreak and that discussion is not allowed either.

At first; if you bought the game then it's not pirating to use a ROM file of the game

Second: yes it's possible to install a app on your devices without jailbreak to run ROMs from many different systems like PSX, N64, NDS, GB/GBC/GBA, SNES and a lot more.

I won't write anything until I get the permission... And I also hate pirating and only play games which I bought like FF7,8,9
