Hi. Has anyone had any problems with iOS messages? Mine are really delayed on my iPad both sent and received. It seems to be working fine on my phone but not my iPad. Anyone help? Do i need to do an update?

    Welcome to iMore!

They should be syncing. Could be a small delay but nothing major.

Are you signed in to iMessage on the iPad with the same credentials as the phone? On the phone under Settings > Messages do you have the iPad listed under Text Message Forwarding?

When you ask if you need to do an update, what version of iOS are you running on your iPad (Network>About>Version)? If you aren't running iOS 10.3.1 then it could be an update issue. Also, if you haven't rebooted your iPad recently, you might shut it down, keep it off for 30 seconds, then reboot and see if that helps.
