Why won't my iPad Air send text messages as it us d to do?

Have always used my iPad to receive and send texts. Now it won't deliver texts although I still receive them.

Welcome to iMore! Go to Settings > iMessage, and make sure you're signed into iMessage and that text message forwarding is toggled on.
