News app does not launch.. White screen. What should I do?

News app does not launch... White screen.

I have an iPad Air running iOS 9.1. I updated hoping this would help. This problem started the same time Apple announced blocking the News app for China.

I am outside Boston and have the same issue with an iPAD 2.

It was better (but not great) before the 9.1 upgrade

I see a few people having issues with the news app. I wonder what is causing it. I don't have any problems with it at all. I would try reaching out to Apple Support.

Are you all hitting the explore tab which allows you to choose what you want included in your newsfeed and then once you hit that tab you will see all the news you chose?
