    Hello there,
I hope I'm in the right forum here...
I currently own an iPhone 4 (16GB, black) and an iPad 3 (64GB WiFI + Cellular, black). I want to upgrade one of these devices but I'm not sure which. My use-cases are the following:
I use the iPad at school for writing and organize homework. I notice some lags while switching between apps, e.g. from Pages to an dictionary or my timetable/homework-app. At home the iPad is used for doing homework and some Twitter/Facebook and web-surfing and watching TV-series.
I use my iPhone in the bus for listening to music, chatting and some Twitter/Facebook and web-surfing. Switching between apps takes quite long and after switching apps need another bot of time to be responsive.

Data plans and contracts are not important since I'm a prepaid-customer.

I'm absolutely not sure about whether device I should upgrade and I' love to hear your opinion. Thank you!

    Sylvan

Based on those use cases, I'd say the iPad air would be better.

    Thanks for your answer!
On the other hand, though, the iPhone is the always in-your-pocket device and could therefore be more valuable. I'm still undecided...
Let's see if there are some other opinions
