Ipad 2 air touch screen not responding

Hello good people, hope I’ll get some help !
Few days ago I left my iPad 2 air charging overnight and next day it stopped responding to touch, only thing is working is home button/power up/volume(+/-).
I’ve tried hard reset as well as restoring it to factory settings and updating it to newest version by ITunes, but still it will power up and screen is not responding…
I haven’t dropped it and it didn’t show any signs of problems before.
Is there anything else would you recommend to try (software wise) or is it 100% digitizer fault as I assume.

I assume you meant the iPad Air 2. With that being said, I can’t think of anything software-wise that would be causing the problem, especially when you’ve reset it to it factory defaults, but hopefully others will reply with some tips soon.

In the meantime, try going to the iFixIt website to see a tear down of the device. You may find replacing the digitizer worth doing yourself, if that’s indeed the issue.

The only thing that I can think of in regards to software is to completely reinstall iPadOS on the iPad through DFU mode: https://www.imore.com/how-to-iphone-ipad-dfu-mode

I really believe this is a hardware or firmware issue.
