is there a way to add a siri suggestion app to my notification list

I have a rainbird sprinkler app which is supposed to send notifications to my ipad. The app is listed as a siri app suggestion, not as a widget that I can add to the list. What good is the notification list if it doesn't include the apps I need?

I've never heard of the app, but hopefully those who have will reply soon with instructions and/or recommendations.

The app for IFTTT works with your sprinkler thing, it looks like. The IFTTT app can give you notifications for it and many other things.
