I may be misunderstanding you when you say you created a "Notes file". Having said that, can you not copy the note and then paste it while replying or creating a post in the forum?

I guess another other option would be to use the old screenshot method, where you screenshot your note and upload it to a forum as an image. I think almost every forum will allow you easily add pictures.
