Problem Showing Photos On iOS Notes???

I have an iPad Air and I use notes a lot on it. As far I know the notes I have is the newest version, I haven't been offered to update it again and I haven't had any problems until just a few weeks ago, this is when I realized that all my photos were basically gone! Where the photos were supposed to be it was just a light grey square. This is a huge issue for me because I have very important images on Notes that I NEED access to. Also, I am not really a technological genius or anything because the only, thing I know about my notes is that I have the latest version and it's on an iPad Air with the latest version of iOS, so I anyone can help please do! Thanks

Try this: Go to Settings → Notes, and then disable the toggle next to "Save Media to Photos".

I tried doing that, but all of my older notes still won't show photos, should I seek help from an Apple worker?
