How do I correct the on-screen time on an iPad Air?

Thanks - But when I do that, I just get the choice of 12 or 24-hour format,it does seem to offer any way of putting the time right.

Sorry, scrap that - so you drag the things up or down, done it, thanks. 10 out of 10 for visibility, Apple (and 1 / 10 for affordance). I wonder why my ancient ?45 sat-nav keeps perfect time while this ?500 thing doesn't. Progress, I suppose.

Is the Set Automatically option on or off? Time Zone properly selected? My iDevices keep time quite well...
