Itunes backup says it will restore Apps data.but not the Apps. Have seen another site that says i will have to Re download all my apps. i have about 90 so it would be a big job. The other one is PHOTOS itunes backup says it backsup Photos but in brackets it says In devices whithout a camera. Confusing for me. Any one who can help me or steer me to a Web page would be nice I dont use icloud because of the high cost of data. Regards Bodidly.

Your apps should be on your computer if you've been regularly syncing. When you get the iPad, you plug into the computer/iTunes... Restore the back-up for settings, etc. from a previous device, then you sync to iTunes to load apps, photos, media files, etc. from the previous device.

if I delete an app on my older ipad, it takes it off my new iPad.
