Music just stops randomly ?

Music is pausing randomly and I have to push play manually.

Are you using a bluetooth headset? If so test without it to make sure that is not the cause. For that matter test without any headset connected and just out of the iPads speakers.

On the off chance, may want to check in the Diagnostics & Usage Data to see if the app is crashing, and thus causing the random stops. My Music app crashed recently on iOS 8.1.1. Music stopped when that happened. While not on an iPad Air 2 (iPhone 6+), there could be an iOS/Music app problem.

Nope this is with normal headphones connected to the headphone jack
