    I wasn't able to preorder so I'm wondering when the iPad Air 2 will be in Apple stores, best buys and targets? Does anyone know? Thanks.

    I banked on Friday being the day, so hopefully that is when it will be. If not Friday, then I can't pick it up until Monday.

    Long story short, I'm guessing Friday.

    I ask because it seems like people who were able to preorder might get them tomorrow or Thursday. Apple never really said in the keynote either when they would be in stores.

    I preordered mine from BB and it is supposed to be available for pick up on Friday.

    Went to my Apple Store. They had cellular iPad Air 2's but they can't sell them. Apple loses it's edge a little each day it seems. Sigh.

    Was able to check via "check availability" on the iPad page. For chicagoland area stores it shows "unavailable for pickup". Sigh.

    First I live in a fairly large city and there are wi-fi hotspots everywhere. McDonalds, coffee shops, malls, etc

    But I have a personal hotspot on my iPhone 5 and it is really pretty fast.

    I was using Hotspot between my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and my Samsung Galaxy tab s 10.5 and watching a show on hulu in HD fine on a train going to long Island

    Hotspots aren't that common here in the Midwest. I mean there are a few but usually the connections are slow and spotty. I'm also concerned the constant hotspot connections to my smartphone will drain the batteries in both devices. I'll just try to be patient I guess until the cellular models are available.

    Hopefully I or someone else will update this post once that happens.
