Smart Covers? Will they fit?

I have a Apple Smart Cover for an iPad Air. I'm curious, will it fit with the new iPad Air 2?

It should. But I remember that at one point, Apple moved the location of the magnets in the transition from one early iPad to the next version (original iPad > iPad 2?). As long as they didn’t do something like that, you should be good.

On the positive side, you already own the cover, so there’s no expense involved to test it out.

Yea, shipping times still seem to be very reasonable. I'm sure there will be a shortage of the Gold models unless they learned their lesson from the iPhone launch.
