iOS 7.1.2 rotate issue

I just updated my iPad air to the latest iOS version. Now my screen won't rotate. Yes... I've gone to settings general and disabled the side switch for rotation operation. Swiped up and made sure that the lock was disabled there too. Is this a known bug on the latest software update?
