Apple is up I see 11/4 ship and in store is a option and available
Just ordered mine. Like the last time the Apple store was 3 minutes late opening. Will pick up my new iPad Air sometime today without standing in line!!!!!
I was going to do that but it doesn't say when I can pick it up so I am hesitant. and may just go to our local store about 6 and wait on line then
Put it in your cart it will show which stores have it. I used the apple store app to get my Verizon 64Gb silver and I'm picking up today.
That wasn't my problem. It doesn't tell me when itt will be able to be picked up. and I needed to do it early. I ordered it and I will sill go early. If my online order is still not ready for pickup at 8 I will wait with the others and cancel the online order

Ordered about 6:30am, got confirmation email at 7:30am.
About 40 people in the regular line and 5 in the in store pickup line. Tyson's Corner VA. Another 15 minutes until store opening.
Definitely a lower key launch than the 5S/5C. Appears to be fewer employees in the store and they didn't even change the front window displays.
I just checked the Apple store and I see that they still have the iPad Air available for in-store pick up at all of the Apple stores in my area. Congrats on getting your iPad Air, Karen. Hope you enjoy it.
I assume they will be pushing the new phones for awhile. Bigger audience.
The demand just isn't there to be worried about not finding a full sized ipad. The Mini may have problems due to supply constraints and having a highly desired retina screen. I didn't see any lines driving past a few stores this morning.
Thanks. I got to the store about 20 minutes before 8 and was out and onto way to work 10 minutes later. Haven't even opened the box yet.
I just sat off to the side while people got their numbers. They all look pretty annoyed when I walked in, past them all first right when they opened hehe >:)
I ordered online at 310 am this morning. I'm considering going to an Apple store today to see if they have the one I want and then canceling my online order.
Ordered at 12:03am, woke up to find out that the credit card flagged it at 1am as a possibly fraudulent charge and froze the card... :( For some reason, looks like the Apple store tried to charge it twice with different amounts? Sigh...
Had a late night of Halloween fun. Slept in until about 7 and ordered at 7:05 with no problems. I will pick it up at the Apple store in a few hours. No hurry. Doesnt seem like there is any mad dash to get one of these.
