Air 2 + IOS 11 incompatible?

My husband has an Air 2 and he has tried to download IOS 11 five times already but it fails everytime.
His iPad is plugged in etc.

Has anyone experienced this? Any tips?

Try "resetting" the iPad (hold down the home button and power button at the same time until the device turns off and the Apple logo appears on the screen, should take about 10 seconds). This won't erase anything, so don't worry about that. Then try to download iOS 11.

It's compatible - I'm on 11.1 Beta now. But performance is mixed - I see a lot more stutter on 11.0 & 11.1 than I ever saw on earlier versions. So far, I don't care for this update.

Just updated to 11.1 Beta 3 and the stutter issues seem to be resolved, at least on the Air 2 - I've seen reports that users with newer, larger iPads are still seeing it. At this point, the update is looking a lot better and I don't have any real complaints about it.
